MaryHelen Gaffney was a lifelong Bergen County, NJ resident until 2020. Once she and her husband, John found Southwest FL, they never looked back. She now happily calls Placida, FL her home. Although she always dreamed of a career in real estate, she felt a duty to remain at the family business. Once her children were grown she relocated to Florida and it was time to fulfill her aspirations. After facing many challenges in the motorcoach industry, she felt she could face most anything and real estate would finally be her focus. Faith, family, honesty, hard work, and integrity are her core values that will drive success in the real estate industry.

MaryHelen loves to cook and enjoys sampling dishes at all the restaurants the area has to offer. Boca Grande is very close to her home, so she has quickly grown attached to the quaint downtown shops, galleries, and especially dining at Scarpa’s, her favorite Italian spot. Shelling, kayaking and fishing have become her favorite activities. Nothing beats those turquoise waters for lazing around in the sun and catching some vitamin sea!
